On her first day at University Dong Shancai meets F4, a group of four friends who are the most handsome, popular and intelligent guys at the University. A series of unfortunate run ins lead to some big changes in her life.

Dong Shancai

played by Shen Yue

Dong Shancai attends her first day at university to study nutrition so that she can help her mum with her home delivery food service. She’s strong willed and is not afraid to stand up for herself or others. When she meets the four most popular guys at her university she enters a world she wasn’t prepared for and feelings develop that she’s unsure of.

Daoming Si

played by Wang Hedi (Dylan Wang)

Daoming Si is the heir to a business empire and as such was born into wealth, but also high expectations. He is still a big child when he first meets Shancai and begins to play pranks on her, but the depth of his feelings for her cause him to grow up and nothing, not even his terrifying mother, will take the girl he loves away from him.

Huazei Lei

played by Guan Hong (Darren Chen)

Huazei Lei is known as a musical genius. When his first love leaves him he turns to Shancai for comfort and the two develop a special bond. After almost losing his friend over jealousy, he realises his two closest friends are meant for each other and he will use any means necessary to make them realise that too.

Ximen Yan

played by Wu Xize (Caesar Wu)

Ximen Yan is a master of the Art of Tea and a master of love, or perhaps more accurately, lust. With the influence of his parents non-existent marriage and missed chance of his first love he won’t let himself develop real feelings for any girl. Enter Jiang Xiaoyou, a girl who won’t give up on him, no matter how often he pushes her away.

Feng Meizuo

played by Liang Jingkang (Connor Leong)

Feng Meizuo has a brilliant memory, when F4 play cards he can remember every card that has been played and therefore work out which cards are most likely to be play next. He is much like his best friend Ximen when it comes to women. However, he has a thing for older women, but that doesn’t always work out for him.

Jiang Xiaoyou

played by Li Jiaqi

Jiang Xiaoyou is Schancai’s best friend and works with her at the tea shop. She first meets Ximen when he walks into their tea shop and calls her Ms. Milk Tea and she is instantly charmed by him and his good looks. When she decides she will do anything to be with him, things don’t work out as planned, but that won’t stop her from helping him be happy.
