In the summer of 2019 I watched my first Asian drama, a c-drama called Well-Intended Love on Netflix. I didn’t know what to watch and the synopsis caught my attention. I’ve never liked subtitles because you end up reading them instead of watching the film. Despite this I thought I’d give it a go and I’ve basically converted to Asian dramas since.
Next I watched Accidentally in Love, and then Meteor Garden (I has never watched such a long tv show before!). Then it was Ugly Duckling and U-Prince. Boys in Flowers as well because I loved Meteor garden so much. And that was it for Netflix.

Accidentally in Love
Meteor Garden
U-Prince
Ugly Duckling
So, I looked for more and I found Viki and well I’ve watched too many since to name them all here, but every title on this site I recommend because I’ve watched it myself.

What do I like so much about Asian Dramas? They’re nice. Now days everything on tv seems involves murder and so on, and it’s just all very serious and depressing. Asian dramas are cute and sweet and happy. While they can be a bit overly dramatic and ridiculous at times, it’s in a good way.
Also, I love that in lot of them the actors are on the soundtrack!
